i've owned several different frothers in the past and you'd think they'd be similar. Boy was I wrong - this frother is the BEST and the only one I will order again for gifts and recommend to friends. I also purchased a replacement glass just in case my new one would break - as others did in the past. Great product description and packaging and very speedy delivery. Thank you.

I just received this frother in the mail. I opened the box, poured cold, skim milk in it and pumped several times. I was SHOCKED!! This product is unbelievable. I was apprehensive because of the price but I listened to the reviews and decided to try it for 20 bucks. I took the advice from some of the reviews and microwaved the glass container with the frothed milk for 1 minute. It was great! I was sick of payimng $5.00 for a latte so I puchased an espresso machine on ebay, bought my espresso from my favorite local coffee shop and my flavoring on line from Monin. But I just could not get the frothing down. Now, in 2 minutes I will have perfect frothed milk for my latte every day because of this product. I would, without hesitation, recommend this product! It's more than 5 stars!!

I had been happily using the Bodum-Chambord frother, until it's glass carafe broke. Desperate, I got my hands on this one, intending to use the carafe with the guts of my hitherto favourite frother. But, when I gave this one a try, the milk frothed so beautifully and completely and quickly, I didn't look back.
Works well with 1% lowfat milk too. Start with cold milk, just below the line. Give a few strokes and when it's more than doubled, put it in the microwave for 30sec's. If you go much longer than that, it could overflow. Use a spoon to stir it together and to dish it out. It's almost like meringue.
Pro's: Beautiful foamy milk in a few seconds. Makes lowfat milk sweet and rich like cream.
Con's: Takes a little time and care to keep the parts clean. Be gentle with the screen. Wimpy glass carafe. Keep one on hand (not too expensive). Making froth with the above directions, will ruin you for steamed coffee shop froth. (That's a con?)
